This one is very fun to build, and has interesting accessories like a boat, fruit basket, wall clock, and so on, that I also get to use to accessorize other dioramas. Quality of pieces is what you expect of a Lego product. Instructions are easy to follow as you get them from installing an app that guides you step by step how to put it together through the use of multi-angled visuals. Nice build, with only one iffy connection. Took me about 3 1/2 hours of constant work to finish. Exterior and boat could work with Minifigs, but the inside of the buildings are off on scale. If you are only going to use the exterior as part of a pirate style build, I think it would be fine, but the interiors are just too small to work with Minifigs. Not a bad build, just could be slightly better LEGO Super Mario Picnic.
I loved the look of this set and it came with very organized pieces and plenty of extras of the little bits you’re more bound to lose. It is however very long and has many pieces that are very specific including functional pieces as well. In all honesty it was more than I had bargained for, so if you’re looking for a more serious build this may be up your alley.
